In its fifth participation, Daniil Medvedev (2nd) achieved the first win of his career at Roland Garros. Defeated with partials of 6-3, 6-3 and 7-5 to Aleksandr Bublik (37th) to access the second instance of the tournament. The match had high-flying tennis, but it also featured curious and funny moments between tennis players.
