Brazil, which is the great candidate to regain the crown, is in the accessible Group C with Panama, the Czech Republic and Vietnam.
The third representative of South America, Paraguay, did not have a friendly draw either and ended up in Group E with Angola, a growing Japan and the always candidate Spain. And the remaining team from South America, Venezuela, will go to Group A, which a priori would give them many chances to advance to the phase, where they will share the zone with the local Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Costa Rica.
