Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley has a mild right hamstring strain, an MRI revealed Thursday.
Conley was placed on the day-to-day roster and will be reevaluated before Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Dallas Mavericks or the LA Clippers.
Conley, who has dealt with a right hamstring problem at various points this season, compounded his injury in Wednesday’s game 5 series win over the Memphis Grizzlies. He left the game in the second quarter and did not return.
Conley, 33, is averaging 17.4 points and 8.6 assists while shooting 54.8 percent from three-point range this postseason.
