Stan Wawrinka (24th) declined his participation at Wimbledon (which starts on June 28) after not being able to recover from the operation he suffered on his left foot and to which he underwent at the end of March.
The Swiss, former world No. 3, only participated in Melbourne 2 (quarter-finalist), the Australian Open (second round), ATP 500 from Rotterdam (first round) and ATP 250 from Doha (first round).
The one who will replace him in the Grand Slam tournament that takes place on the grass of England will be Daniel Galán (107th). The Colombian only disputed the qualifying of this contest in 2019, in which he triumphed in the first round against Lorenzo Giustino and lost in the second against Donald Young.
