Although the Catalan driver had not been having great results, he hoped to return to the points path in the home Grand Prix. Rins did not add units in the Italian Grand Prix last weekend, and added his fourth consecutive fall so far in the championship, leaving the Suzuki team, champion in 2020, with a very bitter taste.
The Japanese team confirmed the news on Friday afternoon, after the pilot had the accident. As confirmed by the Motorsport.com medium, Rins was transferred to the Dexeus University Hospital, in the city of Barcelona. There he was subjected to several radiological tests and it was confirmed that he suffered a fracture in the radius, which is why he is low.

The Spanish will be operated in the next few hours and a recovery process will begin for the race on June 20, in Germany.
Suzuki may not replace anyone for this weekend, although in case Rins is not present at the German Grand Prix, next June 20, he has the chance to look for a replacement. This Sunday, only the last champion, Joan Mir, will be present with the colors of the Japanese factory in the circuit of Catalonia.
