Utah Jazz point guard Mike Conley has been ruled out of Game 2 of Thursday’s Western Conference semifinals against the LA Clippers due to a slight strained right hamstring.
Conley, who also missed Utah’s 112-109 victory in Game 1, suffered the injury during the first half of Utah’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies on June 2.
Conley, 33, an All-Star for the first time this season, has missed significant time due to injuries to both hamstrings during his two seasons in Utah. He missed six games in February and nine games in late April and May due to a strain on his right hamstring.
Conley averaged 17.4 points and 8.6 assists for seeded Jazz in the first round.
