DENMARK – The doctor of the Danish national football team, Martin Boesen, spoke of emergency care during this Saturday’s game against Finland when Christian eriksen he collapsed, claiming that he was “brought back”.
“We were called to the field of play when Christian collapsed. I had not seen him fall, but it was clear that he was unconscious, “explained the Danish doctor.
“When we got close to him, he was on his side, he was breathing and I could feel his pulse, but suddenly everything changed and, as everyone could see, we began to give him a heart massage,” he continued his story.
“The medical team (of the tournament) came quickly and with their help we did what had to be done. We managed to get Christian back,” he revealed.
Eriksen collapsed in the 43rd minute. For a few minutes the worst was feared by the images of great concern. He was eventually transferred to a Copenhagen hospital, where it was soon announced that he was conscious and stabilized.
It was then that it was decided that the match was resumed and Denmark ended up losing 1-0 to Finland on this first day of group B.
