As is customary for each of the riders, he went out for a few laps on his bike to explore the circuit. However, a fall caused a fracture and he had to undergo surgery on his left hand, leaving him out of the race in his country and leaving Suzuki with just one motorcycle.
The Suzuki rider spoke to the media before arriving at Sachsenring for this weekend’s race and spoke about his health, which although not perfect, will allow him to return to competition on the difficult German track. “I have gone to see the doctor mir so that I do some revisions and I feel quite well ”.
Despite the good condition of his wrist after the bike crash, Rins confirmed that he will still not be at 100% this weekend. “He has removed the stitches and the bone seems almost fixed. I have some pain when moving my wrist, so I will continue to work on my recovery during these days. In any case, I will try to give it my all. We did not race at the Sachsenring last year, so I am really looking forward to racing here in Germany again, ”he added.
So far in the championship, Rins could not match the vintage established in 2020. The two Suzuki’s hit the ground running and took the title, and Rins fought for the championship alongside his teammate, Joan Mir, For a long time. This year it seems that luck is not with him, since he had four consecutive falls and the last race, which could not appear due to injury.
