Parma announced this Wednesday that it renewed for another year, until June 30, 2022, the loan of Argentine midfielder Juan Francisco Brunetta, whose record belongs to Godoy Cruz but was claimed by River Plate and Boca Juniors.
“Parma Calcio communicates that it has found an agreement with the Godoy Cruz Sports Club for the renewal of the temporary acquisition of Juan Francisco Brunetta, with the right of option for the definitive purchase,” the Parmesan team reported in an official statement.

Brunetta, 24, played twelve games and scored a goal in Serie A for Parma, a club that was relegated this year to Serie B, the Second Division. The Argentine midfielder played in his career for Arsenal Sarandí, Belgrano and Godoy Cruz.
Despite the decline, Parma has American ownership determined to invest to bring the club back to top series next season.
Proof of this was the signing of Gianluigi Buffon, former Juventus and Paris Saint Germain, who came free to the Parmesan team with a contract until 2023.
