Novak Djokovic (1st) had a fantastic premiere in Wimbledon 2021. The Serbian beat Briton Jack Draper (253 °) 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 and 6-2 and he already got into the second round of the third Grand Slam of the year.
The world number one had an unexpected start as the Briton stole the first set from him on center court. Draper took advantage of the moment of the third game in which he broke the last Wimbledon champion in 2019 and from there, he built his advantage that he would end up signing at the end of the set.
The rest of the sleeves were the expected results in the previous match. Djokovic brought out all his tennis and did not give the young Briton a chance, who could never regain the level of the beginning of the match.
With this result, Djokovic entered the second round of the contest and awaits the winner of Tomás Barrios Vera (209th) or Kevin Anderson (102nd).
