Wimbledon: uneven balance in the Argentine start

Irregular balance for Argentines at the start of Wimbledon, third Grand Slam tournament on the season, including two losses and a partial victory at the close.

On the one hand, Diego schwartzman, 10th seed and best Latin American, made his debut against the talented French Benoit Paire.

The albiceleste was imposed on the Frenchman 6-3 and 6-4, in the debut but the game was suspended due to lack of natural light and was rescheduled to conclude on Tuesday.

Schwartzman, 11th in the world, had scheduled his debut against Frenchman Paire (46th) in the third shift of court 17, but the rains delayed the start for several hours and it began to be played in court number 2, but it was suspended due to lack of natural light after the second partial.

It should be remembered that in his five appearances on the All England Club pitch, Schwartzman registers three eliminations in the first round (2015, 2016 and 2017), one in the second (2018) and another in the third (2019).

Earlier, the blue Federico Delbonis (47th) went from highest to lowest before losing to Russian Andrey Rublev (7th) 6-4, 6-4, 6-1 and 6-2.

Same end had the Santa Fe Facundo Bagnis (91 °) before Miomir kecmanovic (49th): it was 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 and 7-6 (7-1) for the Serbian, David Nalbandian’s ward.
