Star power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was ruled out of Game 6 with the Milwaukee Bucks looking to secure a spot in the NBA Finals on Saturday, the team announced.
Antetokounmpo also missed Milwaukee’s victory in Game 5 after he suffered a hyperextended left knee in Game 4. It is unknown when the two-time NBA MVP will return to play.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is still on the questionable list with a bruise on his right foot bone.
“Another day, another chance”, Young posted on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
The Bucks, attempting to reach the Finals for the first time since 1974, hold a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.
Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic is listed as likely with pain in his right knee, although he has yet to miss a game this postseason due to injury.
