The Springboks again canceled their training

As had already happened last week when Three players from the South African team tested positive after the PCR was carried out when entering the concentration, now again the Springboks were forced to cancel their training for a similar event.

Jager’s Lood He again tested positive in scheduled tests and, due to his close contact with various team members, the entire group has become isolated.

The suspension of practice on this occasion came after a positive test within the player’s team. Both De Jager and the rest of the members of the team who were considered as close contact, were preventively isolated prior to further PCR testing and a review of testing data by the Medical Advisory Group (MAG).

Last week, the South African team had already had to suspend their training in Johannesburg as a preventive measure to the positives of Sbu Nkosi, Vincent Koch and Herschel Jantjies.

Notably the July 9, South Africa will play their second match out of the July window against Georgia, the first was victory in Praetorship. Closing this stage of the year, on the 24th they will start the series against the British & Irish Lions in Cape Town.
