Novak Djokovic scored his fourth win without conceding a single set to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals for the 10th time in his career, after defeating the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics by 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4.
The Belgrade player has not delivered a set since his debut in the first round and has chained four impeccable matches, increasing the level more and more and leaving his superiority reflected in the grass of the All England Club.
Against Fucsovics, a rookie in this section, he demonstrated his ability to increase the pace when necessary. It seems to have a button that lets you speed up when you know it’s time to hack the encounter.
In the second set the best tennis moments of Fucsovics, world number 48 and Andrey Rublev’s executioner appeared, but there the category of world number one appeared.
The Serbian scares. And a lot. He doesn’t feel like anyone is going to stop him on his way to the sixth Wimbledon and twentieth Grand Slam. Nothing more. Nothing less.
