Pablo Cuevas continues to advance in Salzburg

After being eliminated prematurely from Wimbledon and after making the decision not to participate in the Olympics, Pablo Cuevas began his participation in the Salzburg Challenger and seems to want to take advantage of a tournament on brick dust, your favorite surface.

The Uruguayan won against the Kazakh Denis Yevseyevin figures of 7-5 and 6-3 in one hour and 26 minutes, and in the second round he got rid of Danilo Petrovic, 29-year-old Serbian, 6-1 and 6-4.

Cuevas entered as the second seed of the contest that is disputed on brick dust, only behind the Brazilian Thiago Monteiro, who was eliminated before the Chilean Nicolás Jarry.

His rival in the quarterfinals will be nothing less than the Argentine Juan Ignacio Londero. The Cordovan beat Russian Alexey Vatutin with a strange 6-0, 2-6 and 6-0.
