Ronan Kelleher joins the British & Irish Lions tour in South Africa

British & Irish Lions called up Ronan Keheller for the rest of your tour. The Leinster hooker, who had previously trained with the group in the run-up to the start of the international series, will join the squad on Thursday. Keheller, who travels after the return of Alun wyn jones, is the second first line to travel from Welsh to South Africa.

This British & Irish Lions tour has been a positive journey so far in terms of performance. However, Warren gatland he has had to solve many situations at the last minute. Either the injury of its captain Alun Wyn Jones, who returned faster than expected, the injury of Dan Biggar, who sprained his ankle in training, or the absence of Josh adams, who had to leave the title of the game between South Africa A and the Lions to be able to witness via Zoom the birth of his first child.

To all this mix another change is added, although in this case it has nothing to do with a loss. Ronan keheller joins the squad in South Africa for forecasting issues. According to Warren Gatland, “All three of our hookers are healthy but we think it is prudent to fill that position well in order to continue the tour.”
