The British & Irish Lions confirmed their training to face Stormers Saturday at 1 p.m. live on ESPN App, already at 20 delayed by ESPN Extra.
The most resounding news of Warren Gatland’s team are the presence as starter of the young English starter, Marcus Smith and that Alun Wyn Jones, brand new captain of the team will be on the substitute bench.
Robbie Henshaw is back after an adductor injury and Stuart Hogg will be fullback against the Cape Town team.
“I am delighted that Marcus is starting for the first time in the Lions jersey. I have been very impressed by his attitude since I came to camp this week; he has been like a sponge to absorb information,” Gatland said.
