This Thursday from 9:30 p.m., Nacional will host Peñarol in the Gran Parque Central for the first leg of the round of 16 of the CONMEBOL South American Cup.
Facing the continental classic, the tricolors handle several unknowns regarding the composition of the team. Added to the forced absence of Argentine Leandro Fernández due to suspension is the possible loss of Gabriel Neves, who drags a pain in the sole of his foot that could leave him out of the game. In case this circumstance is confirmed, his place will be taken by Maximiliano Cantera.
For their part, Guzmán Corujo and Nicolás Marichal, already recovered, will be at the command of Alejandro Cappuccio who will have to define who will occupy the right side of the team, in which Matías Laborda and Armando Méndez fight for a place.
The probable eleven tricolor to face Peñarol for the Cup would be with Sergio Rochet; Mathías Laborda, Guzmán Corujo, Nicolás Marichal, Camilo Cándido; Facundo Píriz, Joaquín Trasante, Maximiliano Cantera; Alfonzo Trezza, Gonzalo Bergessio and Brian Ocampo
