Jorge Lorenzo He retired from professional activity at the end of 2019, when a string of injuries caused the performance of the five-time Motorcycle World Champion to decide to end his career. Once retired from the activity, Lorenzo signed a contract with the team Yamaha to be part of the official team, although this time as a tester. However, the limited amount of evidence due to the pandemic of coronavirus, made Lorenzo terminate his contract with the Japanese brand. Since mid-2020, Lorenzo has not been on a racing motorcycle any more.

This drought without getting on a motorcycle ended this Tuesday. The Spaniard returned to the Misano circuit, in Italy, for an event with some fans and a brand that sponsors him. There he rolled a few laps, although there were no timed times. The fans who could be present were winners of a raffle organized by the Spanish on their social networks.

Lorenzo shared the images of the day he lived on the Italian circuit through his social networks. There he did it together with a small message, which showed Lorenzo’s happiness when he got back on a motorcycle. “Very excited to be on the track! It has been two incredible days in which I enjoyed riding with great riders and friends, along with my fans and those of the Vmoto Soco team at the Misano Circuit. Thank you for this experience! ”.


Currently, Lorenzo is completely removed from the paddock of MotoGP. His last season was a bad memory, which does not overshadow the five titles obtained throughout his career, where three of them were in the highest category. He beat figures of the stature of Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and even Marc Márquez, although for him that is a past time.
