After a long stop because of the pandemic, Uruguayan club rugby returned with the dispute of the first date of the Qualifying Tournament.
On the Ceibos court, Trébol de Paysandú prevailed over the locals in a match full of emotions that culminated 33 to 14. At the “Ramón Cáceres” Sports Field, Old Boys beat Champagnat by a resounding 55 to 10 scoring seven tries at throughout the 80 minutes.
For its part, in the Sports Field of the French Lyceum, Old Christians clearly beat PSG by 55 to 8 and in the CUPRA Park, Los Cuervos beat Seminario by 8 to 0.
For its part, Carrasco Polo kicked off the title defense on the right foot. He defeated Lobos de Punta del Este as a visitor by 35 to 12, scoring five tries and adding a bonus point at the start of the contest.
