The fight between Canelo Y Caleb Plant
would be in Pay per Event through Fox, one of the television stations with which PBC has a transmission agreement.
The report was also confirmed by Lance Pugmire, from The Athletic, whose sources coincided with the information he initially gave Mike Coppinger.
The negotiations dragged on at the insistence of PBC to link to Canelo in a three-fight pack. The package included the fight with Caleb Plant, and later fights with Jermall charlo Y David benavidez. However, Alvarez has been reluctant to sign multiple-fight contracts, opting for a single-fight package with Plant.
Alvarez has the belts of CMB, AMB Y OMB at 168 lbs. On the other hand, Caleb Plant is the monarch of the FIB in the same category.
