The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will begin this Friday, July 23 and end on Sunday, August 8, with the presence of eleven athletes who will represent Uruguay. The rowers Bruno Cetraro and Felipe Klüver will be the first celestial to compete, having their first regatta on the same day that the Games open of the XXXII Olympiad.
The eleven oriental athletes will be the athletes Maria Pía Fernández (1500 meters), Deborah Rodríguez (800 meters), and Emiliano Lasa (long jump), the judoka Mikael Aprahamián (category – 81 kg), the swimmers Enzo Martínez (50 free meters) and Nicole Frank (200 meters combined), the rowers Cetraro and Klüver (Double light torque), and in Sailing, the sailors Dolores Moreira (Laser Radial) and Pablo Defazio and Dominique Knüppel (Nacra 17).
The first competition of the celestial delegation will be the series of double light pair in which Cetraro and Klüver will say present on Friday, July 23 at 11:30 p.m. in Uruguay.
