The Uruguayan Olympic Committee confirmed that the final delegation for Tokyo 2020 Games, which after Pablo Cuevas’ last minute withdrawal, will be made up of 11 athletes.
It will be the third smallest representation in the history of our country in the highest event in world sport, only surpassed by the representations of Los Angeles 1932 (a single athlete) and Montreal 1976 (9 athletes).
The eleven representatives of Uruguay are María Pia Fernández, Deborah Rodríguez, Emiliano Lasa, Mikael Aprahamian, Dolores Moreira, Pablo Defazio, Dominique Knüppel, Enzo Martínez, Nicole Frank, Bruno Cetraro and Felipe Klüver, who will compete in five disciplines: Rowing, Sailing, Athletics, Swimming and Judo.
