The UAR and DAIA offered a series of workshops. They were about diversity and coexistence with players and references from the world of rugby as a public.
The Delegation of Argentine Israelite Associations offered different courses taking into account the Rugby 2030 Program, promoted by the Argentine Rugby Union and of which employees from various levels of the institution were part. One of them was “Coexistence in Diversity”, whose objective was to sensitize the population about discriminatory practices.
In this regard, the President of the UAR, Marcelo Rodríguez, declared that “from the leadership we have not only considered active listening to the social conflict associated with rugby, but we have also opened spaces for dialogue with all the referents, and for that reason we developed the Rugby 2030 Program to create a new culture in line with to our times, reducing violence in all its aspects “
For his part, DAIA Executive Director, Víctor Garelik, he stated: “We value the attitude of the UAR by having taken the initiative to move forward responsibly on a problem that is deeply rooted in society as a whole. From DAIA we fight against anti-Semitism and all messages of hate that are so damaging to our communities ”.
