Amid the uncertainty over the bubble between Australia and New Zealand for the Rugby Championship, the The Wallabies confirmed their roster of 42 players for the contest that begins in August.
Izack Rodda and Duncan Paia’aua are two of the players who return to the squad. In total, of the 42 names, eight were called up for the first time and another four debuted in the last series of the July window against France.
The group will meet starting this week at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, as they prepare for the first round of the Bledisloe Cup in Auckland on 7 August.
Dave Rennie referred to the payroll and upcoming commitments: “The connection this group is forming grows by the day and we have chosen a team of players here who are willing to work hard for each other.. We know we still have a long way to go to get to where we want to be, but that challenge is exciting and something we look forward to, “he said.
