TOKYO, JAPAN — The wait is over for the Guatemalans Adriana ruano Y Waleska soto when debuting in the JTokyo Olympics in the discipline of shooting with hunting weapons in pit mode, completing the first three rounds of the tie at the Asaka Shooting Range headquarters in Japan.
Roan Y Soto they became the 11th and 12th athletes in the Guatemalan delegation to go into action during the highest event of the Olympic cycle. A test that brings together the best 26 shooters in the world, Italy, Australia and Guatemala being the only three countries with two representatives in the category.
With 30 years, Waleska soto added a total of 67 hits to be ranked 22nd in the rankings. He hit 21 targets in the first round, while in the second and third series, he had 23 by, missing only eight shots of the 75 that were made on this first day of the tie.
For his part, Adriana Ruano came in 26th with 66 hits, product of 23 in the first round and 21 in the second and 22 in the third. She was tied with the French Melanie Couzy with 66 correct shots of 75.

It was Zuzana Rehak from Slovakia, who dominated the test with 75 successful shots, that is, she did not miss in any of the three rounds, so she is shaping up to get on the podium. The second place went to the Italian Silvana Stanco with 74 hits and in third place was Alessandra Perilli from San Marino.
Soto Y Roan They are the only Central American women to compete in the test and it will be this Wednesday when they return to the scene to complete the second day of the tie.
