Carreño left Djokovic without the Olympic bronze at the Games

Pablo Carreño Busta gave the thirteenth Olympic medal to Spanish tennis. It was a Bronze in Tokyo 2020 although the special flavor will be given by snatching it from the hands of the world number one, Novak Djokovic.

The image of Novak Djokovic nervous, out of control, throwing his rackets on the ground was the summary of his last hours in Japan.

Although it was difficult for him to close the game taking advantage of his sixth match point, world number 11 won 6-4, 6-7 (6) and 6-3 and he joined a list of illustrious names that gave Spain a medal in an Olympic game.
