Anthony Zambrano expressed his joy on social networks after the qualification to the final of the 400 meters at the Olympic Games. This Thursday, August 5, compete for the medal.

The Colombian got into the fight for the last race of his specialty with a new South American record. Recorded 43:93 and will look for a place on the podium in good shape.

Hours after his achievement in Tokyo, he expressed his feelings for facing the best in the world in this competition.

“Getting to an Olympic final has been a very tough road. A journey full of curves, thorns and pain; but also, a journey where I discovered that with faith, (sic) determination and resilience one can always bring out their best version. Grs to those who have believed in me. Come on !! ”, the 23-year-old peasant trilled.

The final will be this Thursday, August 5. In 400 meters, Colombia won the medal with Ximena Restrepo at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
