The performance of Alexa Moreno left a historic fourth place in this discipline of Mexican sport.
There were four Mexican exponents in Gymnastics during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Alexa Moreno, Daniel Corral, Dafne Navarro and Rut Castillo represented Mexico in Artistic Gymnastics, in trampoline and rhythmic.

While, Rut Castillo it was eliminated after four qualifying rounds in that discipline. The Mexican was in 22nd place in the general classification, so she did not reach a place among the first 10, who will fight for a place towards the medals.
