Roger Federer (9th) turns 40. For many, he is the best tennis player of all time and, he, has numbers that justify this thought that has a large part of tennis society.

The Swiss, to begin with, shares the leadership in number of Grand Slam titles with Rafael Nadal (3rd) Y Nova Djokovic (1st), with 20. The first of them he won in the 2003 (Wimbledon) and the last of them in 2018 (Australian Open). In the next big tournaments the absolute record will be disputed between them.

Continuing with the numbers in major events, Su Majesty is the tennis player with the most finals contested, with 31 (Nadal, second with 25), and has the most victories in history in tournaments of this category: he has 332 wins and Djokovic follows, with 240.

In number of ATP titles, he is in second place, with a mark of 102 trophies raised. In the first place? Jimmy Connors, with 109. Counting the tennis players in activity, he is on top and in comfort: Nadal (87) and Djokovic (82) watch him from far behind.

Secondly, Federer is the player with the most consecrations in the World Tour Finals: six times he celebrated in this competition. They are followed by Ivan Lendl, Pete Sampras and Djokovic, with five. Furthermore, nAdie qualified more times than he to this prestigious championship (15 participations). Andre Agassi did it 13 times. He has a record of 55 wins and only 13 losses.

The one from Basel, between 2003 and 2008, had 65 consecutive victories on grass. The record stretched until the Wimbledon final which he lost to Nadal. In addition, between 2005 and 2006, he did the same but on hard courts: he won 56 games in a row.
