Cullen Grace was injured and will be out for 5 months

The participation of Cullen grace, the promising second line of the All blacks, Crusaders Y Canterbury, will miss the remainder of the year due to a shoulder injury suffered in a preseason friendly match.

“Cullen dislocated his sterno-clavicular joint (clavicle region) in Canterbury’s preseason game against Tasman,” reads a statement on the Crusaders’ social media, adding that “due to the nature of this injury, it has been ruled out for the remainder of the NPC season and will return to play at the start of the 2022 Super Rugby season. “

Grace’s injury is not expected to require surgery and she was present at Canterbury’s training in Christchurch on Thursday. The 21-year-old injured his shoulder during Canterbury’s preseason game against Tasman last month at Hanmer.

The injury adds to Grace’s frustrations as she also ran into various issues during the Crusaders’ 2021 Super Rugby season and subsequently missed the All Blacks matches. He made his only appearance against the Wallabies in November of last year in Brisbane.
