Carlos Muzzio made his debut with Los Pumas against South Africa

Carlos Muzzio had his debut with the Los Pumas jersey, in what was the fall to South Africa in the debut in the Rugby Championship. The 36-year-old pilar from Corrientes became the oldest player to play his first match in the national team.

Trained at the San Patricio de Corrientes club, Muzzio ventured into professional rugby in 2010, when he landed at Federale 1 in Vannes (Rodrigo Bruni’s current team that plays Pro D2). Later, after a brief stint at Tarben, also in the second division of France, the pillar fell on Stade Montois (2014), a club in which it remains to this day.
