Despite the fall, Los Pumas rose in the World Rugby rankings

Despite the loss to South Africa in the Rugby Championship debut, The Pumas climbed a notch in the World Rugby rankings, due to the defeat of Australia before the All Blacks.

The Wallabies, by losing in their first game by more than 15 points, they deducted 0.16 units, thus remaining one position below the team led by Mario Ledesma. Australia owns 83.14 and is in seventh position, while Los Pumas remain with 83.15as they lost no points from the loss, and rose to sixth place.

In the first place of the ranking, South Africa, the last world champions, continues comfortably with 94.20, while in the second place, the All Blacks added 0.19 points for their victory and possess 89.29.
