In what will be the second commitment of The Pumas at Rugby Championship in view of South Africa, Ignacio Mendy will make his debut with the Argentine national team, since he is part of the initial XV against the Springboks, while Lucio Cinti will be in the bench of substitutes.
Mendy, trained in Los Tilos, will join the team instead of Baptist Delguy. For its part, Cinti will await his place to enter, with the dream of making his debut in Los Pumas.
Both Mendy and Cinti were key players in the squad of The Pumas 7’s who achieved the Bronze in the Olympic Games. In addition, in the XV, they have experience in Los Pumitas, since they played the M20 World Cup in 2019.
It should be remembered that Cinti joined the Los Pumas squad in the 2020 Tres Nations. The back was on the bench in the historic victory against the All Blacks, but did not have the opportunity to add minutes.
