Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed this Friday at a press conference that Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo “has no intention of playing for Juventus” and that is why he has not trained with the team today nor will he be called up for the league game this weekend against Empoli.
“Yesterday Cristiano told me that he has no intention of playing for Juventus. That is why he will not be called up tomorrow. Now let’s talk about Empoli,” said the coach of the Turin club.
Allegri said that “Ronaldo has contributed, has made himself available, now he is leaving and life goes on”, while emphasizing that “Juventus remains, which is the most important thing.”
“Ronaldo is thanked for what he has done, also as an example among young people. But as I said, we have to move on,” he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo arrived today at 9.20 am in his car at the Juventus facilities and after spending forty minutes at the sports complex, he left without training after saying goodbye to his teammates.
