Jarry beat Kicker a great game at the Warsaw Challenger

Nicolás Jarry won a real match against his namesake Kicker in a South American classic corresponding to the last 16 of the Warsaw Challenger.

It was 7-6 (1), 4-6 and 6-4 in two hours and 40 minutes of play on Polish brick dust. At the moment he rises to 226 in the ATP ranking and will have another Argentine as his next rival: Camilo Ugo Carabelli. He beat 6-4 and 7-6 (2) over Daniel Altmaier, recent champion at Luedenscheid.

At the same time, Thiago Tirante won in Barletta in the quarterfinals. It was double 6-2 against the Peruvian Nicolás Álvarez and in this way he already ranked among the four best in the Italian tournament.

Finally, in Prague 3, Genaro Olivieri could not advance to the final. He gave up 6-1, 7-5 with Briton Ryan Peniston.
