Jesús Hernández Hernández achieved his second medal in Tokyo 2020 and with that he helped Mexico achieve its 300th medal in the Paralympic Games
The day in Tokyo 2020 left four more medals for the Mexican delegation that already has 13 in the event. Nevertheless, It also goes down in history for exceeding 300 medals in the Paralympic Games.
The 50 meter breaststroke, in swimming, gave three medals, of which the gold one stands out for Arnulfo Castorena; while Jesús Hernández and Nely Miranda took the bronze.
José Chessani, in the 400 meters in athletics, got the fifth gold medal for the Mexican delegation in Tokyo 2020, event in which it also adds silver and seven bronzes.
