On the last day of the Paranatation, Mexico had an outstanding performance and added medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games
Diego López and Jesús Hernández made two-three and took silver and bronze, respectively, in the Paralympic Swimming in the 200-meter freestyle S3 of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
In the case of López Díaz, he added his third medal in this edition thanks to the 3: 23.57 minutes that left him in the second place.or, only behind the Ukrainian Denys Ostapchenko. Likewise, it is his number three medal in his career.
For his part, Hernández Hernández had a time of 3: 23.93 and won bronze in the same competition to complete the podium. Like his compatriot Diego López, he conquered his third metal in this fair and the fourth in his career, since in Rio 2016 he obtained a bronze in the S4 50-meter freestyle.
