Pastore assured that the team’s objective for this season will be “to finish better than last year”, alluding to Elche’s troubles, which managed to ensure permanence on the last day and without depending on itself.
The player, who faces his first experience in Spain after passing through Italy (Palermo and Rome) and France (Paris Saint Germain), arrives at a team in which he will meet six other Argentines, so he assured that he wanted to meet to some of the compatriots, although he stressed that the most important thing is “to help the club.”
Regarding his physical condition, Pastore, 32, said he was doing well. “Since January and I was training without problems with Roma. I’ve been away from the team for two months and I’ve trained alone. I hope to be in the best possible condition, but that will be determined by the ‘teachers’ and the coaching staff ”, he concluded.
