Josh taylor, undisputed world champion of super lightweight assured that fighting against the Filipino Manny pacquiao it wouldn’t bring him any recognition.
“If I have a fight against Manny pacquiao and I beat him, it’s like you beat an old man Manny Pacquiao, an old man who has passed his prime, so I won’t get any credit for beating him ”, he said in an interview with Givemesport.
“I don’t think there is any benefit to me other than sharing the ring with my hero,” he said.
The British boxer did not deny that it would be an honor for him to share a ring with Pac-man, but the downside is that there will be no reward.
“It would be a great honor to share the ring with him,” he explained. “It would be great, like a dream come true. But is there any reward for me right now? ”He admitted.
“It’s not the same Manny pacquiao it once was, so even though it would be a great honor to share the ring with him, I don’t think I would have had any problem (beating him). “
