According to a report from the previously mentioned portal, the return of Cristiano to Old Trafford caused thousands of fans to acquire the official Manchester United garment and outsold the shirts of stars from various sports who changed their squad.
For instance, Ronaldo’s jersey generated more demand than Lionel Messi’s PSG jerseys or Tom Brady and LeBron James jerseys when they joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Lakers, respectively.
According to various reports, the arrival of Lionel Messi in Paris caused PSG and Nike, the company that dresses the French team, to raise more than 100 million dollars from the sale of shirts in just a few days.
While, Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to play his first game with Manchester United in his second stage at the ‘Theater of Dreams’. The Red Devils will meet Newcastle on Saturday for Date 4 of the Premier League.
