In the quarterfinals of US Open 2021 a particular situation occurred, which ended with Alexander Zverev drying Arthur Ashe in his duel against Lloyd Harris.
The German won the first set in the tiebreak 8-6 and the South African was filled with anger. He grabbed two bottles of water and threw them on the floor, like so many other tennis players do.
But the Harris bottles were open and the main court at Flushing Meadows filled with water. The ball boys and even the German himself began to dry it.
In the second set, Zverev would prevail firmly 6-3.
