Cristiano Ronaldo spoke this Thursday as a Manchester United player and assured that he has not come to the English club on vacation but to win titles again.
The Portuguese footballer, who left United in 2009, has returned this season to wear the Red Devils jersey and could make his debut this Saturday against Newcastle United.
“I have not come to take a vacation. I already know what it is to wear this shirt and win a title with it, now I am here to win again. That is why I have come,” Cristiano told the club’s media.
“I know that I am capable together with my teammates. I am ready to start. It is a good opportunity for me, for the fans and for the club, to take a step forward. Important things are going to happen in the next three or four years”, added the Portuguese.
Cristiano has started training this week with what is now his new team, after surpassing the record for international goals with his national team, which freed him to return to Manchester after being suspended for the match against Azerbaijan.
