Tonight was the 17th game to start for Tampa Bay, and 300th in the career of the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Tom brady became this Thursday night the first quarterback in the history of the NFL to start 300 regular season games, extending its own brand of the NFL.
The defending champions of Super Bowl, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, received this Thursday night the Dallas cowboys at Raymond James Stadium, to kick off the 2021 regular season, in the first game of the Week 1.
For Brady, is the match N ° 17 that begins for the Buccaneers, after having started a total of 283 over two decades with the New England Patriots. In addition to his 300 games as a starting quarterback, Brady participated in two, both in New england, coming off the bench. He was chosen by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 draft, with the 199th overall turn, coming from Michigan, before becoming the first quarterback with seven rings of Super bowl.
At 44 years of age, Brady has given no indication of when it might withdraw from the NFL.
In addition to the mark of games started as a starter at the quarterback position, Brady entered the duel this Thursday with multiple brands of NFL, including all-time leader in pass attempts (10,598), all-time leader in touchdown passes (581). As if that were not enough, he is the active leader in completions (6,778), and in passing yards (79,204).
