Last season’s MVP suffered one of his worst outings since playing for Green Bay
Aaron Rodgers was benched with 10:46 remaining in the fourth period, and with the Green bay packers down 38-3 against New Orleans Saints in a duel in which nothing went right for the cheeseheads.
Rodgers, who had a tumultuous offseason in which he made it clear that he did not wish to continue with the Packers, threw two interceptions and zero touchdown passes in the time he was on the field.
Rodgers was replaced on the field of play by Jordan love, second-year quarterback who missed a single play as a rookie in 2020, when Rodgers won the award for Most valuable Player of the NFL.
However, the 2021 regular season opener was a different story for Rodgers, who found no offensive rhythm in three quarters and a fraction before being substituted.
The Packers come from two consecutive appearances in the NFC Championship Game, staying on both occasions in the anteroom of the Super bowl.
