The Argentine National Team makes its debut this Tuesday at the Futsal World Cup in Lithuania 2021, from 2pm in front of the United States in Vilnius.
The next matches for the team led by Matías Lucuix in the group stage will also be in the Lithuanian capital, on September 17 against Serbia and on September 20 against Iran (both at 14 in Argentina).
La Albiceleste, champion of the 2016 edition that took place in Colombia, starts its ninth participation in a World Cup after having led the South American Qualifier of Brazil 2020.
In preparation for the World Cup event, the National Team held a one-month preseason in Spain and the Netherlands where they beat Uzbekistan (3-1), drew with Spain (4-4), beat Japan (2-1) and defeated in two opportunities to the Netherlands (3-1 and 4-2).
