(EFE) .- Borussia Dortmund beat Besiktas 1-2 at home in Istanbul with goals from Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland, in a match that was complicated in added time, when the Turkish team shortened the distance.
Before, Dortmund had had a couple of occasions to sentence and have peace of mind. He had had spaces to counterattack without taking full advantage of them and in the end he had a few minutes of suffering.
Dortmund began with many inaccuracies in the exit of the ball and was delayed in entering the game in the first quarter of an hour, in which Besiktas took the initiative, led by Pjanic, who pulled the strings in the center of the field.
In the 6th minute the Turkish team had a great chance at the feet of Batshuayi, who was met with a good save by Gregor Kobel.
Then, little by little, Dortmund took over the game and gained confidence, especially when he managed to open the scoring, in minute 20, through Jude Bellingham
The play was started by Dahod with a diagonal pass to Thomas Meunier, who sent the ball first into the small area, where Bellingmann, after a control with his chest, scored with his right between the goalkeeper’s legs.
Then Dortmund began to command and shortly before the end of the first half they achieved 0-2, marked by Haaland.
The play began in a throw-in from the left, Bellingham beat the defenders back and entered the area, where he touched the ball backwards for Haaland to define the empty goal.
In the second half there was little football for a long time. Two occasions for Dortmund, at the feet of Bellingham in the 67th minute and Haaland in the 71st, and a huge one for Besiktar in the 69th, when Kobel beat Batshuayi one-on-one inside the area.
In 92, Ansgard Knauf missed the third for Dortmund when he shot wide from close range
The referee added seven minutes and in 94 the match reopened when Montero headed in after a free-kick by Pjanic.
Besiktas tried to arrive in the final minutes with long balls, but Dortmund gained control and kept their lead until the end.
