The countdown to the Davis Cup series to be played has begun Chile and Slovakia this September 17 and 18 for the World Group I.
It is that this Thursday the draw was carried out in which the order of the games was known and who will be the tennis players who will play the singles.
In the case of the South American squad, the big question was to know who would be the second singlist, the one who will finally be Nicolas Jarry (214 °), with Cristian Garin (17th) already insured as the first racket.
And precisely “Gago” will be in charge of opening the series this Friday, at 12:30 pm, against Alex Molcan (117th), while after that duel Jarry will face Norbert Gombos (115th).
Meanwhile, on Saturday the doubles will be played from 10:30 am, where Tomás Barrios (159 °) and Alejandro Tabilo (183 °) were chosen by captain Nicolás Massú to challenge Filip Polasek (10th in doubles) and Lukas Klein (245 °).
If necessary, the last two singles duels will be played on the same Saturday, where Garin would face Gombos and Jarry against Molcan.
