Seville vs. Valencia - Game Report - September 22, 2021

(EFE) – Sevilla returned to the path of victory, after three consecutive draws -two in LaLiga and another in the UEFA Champions League-, by beating Valencia 3-1 in a match of the sixth day that was played in the Sánchez-Pizjuán and in which all the goals came in the first half to give way to a second half with little history.

It was the Argentine Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gómez who did the first at two minutes; Toni Lato, on his own goal by deflecting a cross from also Argentine Gonzalo Montiel, made it 2-0 at a quarter of an hour in a somewhat absurd; Rafa Mir made it 3-0 for Sevilla and Hugo Duro, with a rebound included in the Brazilian Diego Carlos, shortened the gap (3-1); without moving the scoreboard further throughout the game.
