With much Argentine prominence, the fifth date of the Pro D2 was played

This Friday the fifth day of the Pro D2 was played and, as expected, there was great prominence on the part of the Argentine players. Among the highlights of the fifth day was the debut of Tomás de la Vega, who played from the start in Providence’s 22-21 loss to Rouen Normandie.

Nothing seems to hold back Stade Montois nor to Colomiers. Both teams remained undefeated on this date and have already accumulated five consecutive victories. With Lucas Mensa as a starter -who also contributed two tries- Stade Montois thrashed 43-8 to Agen in a meeting that also had Jose Luis Gonzalez entering the bank and scoring his try on the winner. For his part, Colomiers beat 41-14 Montalbanais.

Among other even results were the victories of Stade Aurillaicos 30-26 over Narbonnais and Carscassone who beat Bressane 26-22, which was counted by Victor Damián as a substitute.

In addition, in another of the 6 games that were played simultaneously, Béziers Hérault overcame 25-7 Nevers.

In the last game of the day, the Grenoble by Bautista Ezcurra faced against him Bayonne by Mariano Galarza, who wore the captain’s tape. It was an 18-13 victory for the team led by the second row.
